Terms of Service

AureaHD (“AureaHD,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides the website at aureahd.com and its related features (together, the “Service”). By creating an account, using the Service, or purchasing a reading, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or make a purchase. By using the Service, you represent that you are 18 or older and that the information you provide is accurate.

AureaHD generates a free Human Design chart from the birth details you provide — your Type, Strategy, Authority, Profile, and a living BodyGraph. With a paid plan you can unlock a complete reading, daily transit reports, reflections and journaling, monthly recaps, and conversations with Orla, our AI reflective companion. We may add, change, or remove features over time to improve the Service.

It is not medical, mental-health, psychological, legal, financial, or other professional advice, and it is not a substitute for consulting a qualified professional. Human Design is a self-reflective framework, not a science, and nothing here diagnoses, treats, or predicts anything about your life or health.

You are solely responsible for your own decisions and actions. If you have a medical, mental-health, legal, or financial concern, please seek help from a licensed professional. If you are in crisis or may be a danger to yourself or others, contact your local emergency services or a crisis line immediately — Orla is not an emergency service.

Orla is an artificial-intelligence system powered by a third-party large-language-model provider. Orla’s responses are generated automatically and are not reviewed by a human before you receive them.

Like all AI systems, Orla can be wrong. It may produce information that is inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or inappropriate, and it may occasionally misunderstand you. Do not rely on Orla as a source of factual, professional, or safety-critical information. Treat its words as a prompt for your own reflection, not as truth or instruction. Your use of Orla is subject to Section 4 above.

Paid plans are processed by Stripe. We offer the following plans, with pricing shown at checkout:

• Weekly — $6.99/week, including a 3-day free trial for eligible new subscribers.
• Annual — $44.99/year.
• Lifetime — $99 one-time.

Trials and renewals. If your plan includes a free trial, it automatically converts to a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless you cancel beforehand. Subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current price each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel any time through the Stripe billing portal, which you can reach from within the app; cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of your current period.

Refunds. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable, though we may issue refunds at our discretion. The Lifetime plan is a one-time purchase for continued access to the reading features it covers for as long as we operate the Service.

Price changes. We may change our prices. If a change affects your recurring subscription, we will give you notice beforehand, and the new price will apply to your next billing period. We never store your full card number — Stripe handles your payment details.

Sign-in is passwordless: we email you a magic link and keep you signed in with a session cookie. You are responsible for keeping access to your email account secure and for activity that happens under your account.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful, harmful, or abusive purpose.
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, scrape, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems.
• Use the Service to harass others, or to generate content that is illegal or that infringes the rights of others.
• Resell or commercially exploit the Service without our written permission.

The Service — including its software, design, text, and the charts, reports, and other content we generate — is owned by AureaHD or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use the Service for your own reflection.

You own the content you create, such as your journal entries and reflections. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display that content solely to operate and provide the Service to you (for example, so Orla can remember your conversations). This license ends when you delete the content or close your account, except for copies retained in routine backups or as required by law.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any content — including charts, readings, guidance, or Orla’s responses — is accurate, complete, reliable, or useful. Any reliance you place on the Service or its content is strictly at your own risk.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AureaHD will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages.

This includes, without limitation, loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. In no event will our total liability for all claims relating to the Service exceed the greater of one hundred U.S. dollars ($100) or the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AureaHD and its operator, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these terms or of any law or the rights of a third party.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms, if we are required to by law, or if we discontinue the Service. On termination, your right to use the Service ends, though sections that by their nature should survive — such as intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and arbitration — will continue to apply.

Please read this section carefully — it affects how disputes between you and AureaHD are resolved. Except for the carve-outs below, you and AureaHD agree to resolve any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or the Service through binding individual arbitration, rather than in court. Arbitration uses a neutral arbitrator and is more informal than a lawsuit.

Class-action waiver. You and AureaHD agree to bring claims only in an individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, collective, or representative proceeding.

Carve-outs. Either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court, and either party may seek injunctive or equitable relief in court to protect its intellectual property or stop unauthorized use of the Service.

30-day opt-out. You can opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing orla@aureahd.com within 30 days of first accepting these terms, stating your name and that you wish to opt out of arbitration. Opting out will not affect any other part of these terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which AureaHD’s operator resides, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Subject to the arbitration section above, you agree that any dispute not subject to arbitration will be handled in the courts located in that jurisdiction.

We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and notify you by email or within the app. Your continued use of the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will stay in full force and effect.
